This release introduces the concept of Prevailing Document Type Group Logic.
There are some use cases with a need to create a relationship between a set of document types (in Policy Center, known as Document Type Group) and a Jurisdiction and the system can be set up to display the mapping for a specific Jurisdiction level only.
When this type of configuration is done, users can enable “Prevailing logic” during search and only document types for the child Jurisdictions will be displayed.
To demonstrate that better, let’s consider the following setup in Policy Center:
|
Record Class: Accounting Mapping Doc Type Group: Accounting Jurisdiction: Global Doctype: Invoice Doctype: Payment Doctype: Credit memo |
Record Class: Accounting Mapping Doc Type Group: Accounts Receivable Jurisdiction: Australia (AU) Doctype: Void Check Doctype: Refund Doctype: Credit memo |
It is mandatory to have Record Class mapped to a document type group. The document type group and record class relationship needs to happen through the Uploader functionality for this version
When searching in the Record Retention Schedule screen, it is possible to select if search will respect the Prevailing logic. In this situation, system will respect only the document type association present in the right side of the table above (Accounts Receivable for Australia):
Apart from the Document Type Group Logic, some bug fixes and performance improvements in the tree grid are also part of this release
